Update on the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus infection

According to the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of February 10, in Ukraine there have been officially confirmed 3,409 (244 children out of this number, 298 healthcare workers) new cases of COVID-19 infection. The number of active cases makes up 136, 745.

During the last 24 hours, there have been hospitalized 2046 persons, 163 patients died, 7768 persons recovered. There have been conducted 43767 testing (27795 using the PCR method and 15972 using the ELISA method).

During the entire pandemic in Ukraine:

1253055 persons contracted COVID-19 infection;

1092376 people recovered;

23934 people died;

6447576 testing have been conducted.

Data from the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk regions and the city of Sevastopol are not available. The studies were conducted by the Virology Reference Laboratory of the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as well as by regional laboratories.

The Ministry of Healthcare of Ukraine urges when having the first symptoms of respiratory illnesses to call a family doctor. Stay home! Self-isolation is the most efficient way to protect yourself from infection.
