  • Update on the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus infection

    According to the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of November 24, in Ukraine there have been officially confirmed 15,131 (649 children out of this number, 681 healthcare workers) new cases of COVID-19 infection. The number of active cases makes up 376,887.

    During the last 24 hours, there have been hospitalized 1,776 persons, 235 patients died, 13,383 persons recovered. There have been conducted 74,880 testing (48,028 using the PCR method and 26,852 using the ELISA method).

    During the entire pandemic in Ukraine:

    • 787,891 persons contracted COVID-19 infection;
    • 397,809 people recovered;
    • 13,195 people died;
    • 4,702,234 testing have been conducted.

    The largest number of confirmed cases in the last 24 hours was registered in Kyiv city (1,374), Dnipropetrovsk region (1,258), Odesa region (1,211), Zaporizhia region (1,106 cases), Kyiv region (988).

The studies were conducted by the Virology Reference Laboratory of the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as well as by regional laboratories.
