Аccording to the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of September 17, in Ukraine there have been officially confirmed 166,244 COVID-19 cases, 73,913 people recovered, 3,400 patients died. A total of 1,955,211 samples in Ukraine were tested using PCR method.

During the 24 hours, 3,584 new cases have been confirmed and 1,589 patients have recovered.

As of September 17, coronavirus disease was registered:

Vinnytsia region – 5,039 cases;

Volyn region – 6,593 cases;

Dnipropetrovsk region – 3,653 cases;

Donetsk region – 2,272 cases;

Zhytomyr region – 4,656 cases;

Zakarpattia region – 8,931 cases;

Zaporizhia region – 2,673 cases;

Ivano-Frankivsk region – 11,856 cases;

Kirovohrad region - 951 cases;

Kyiv – 18,449 cases;

Kyiv region – 7,342 cases;

Lviv region – 17,664 cases;

Luhansk region - 689 cases;

Mykolaiv region – 2,252 cases;

Odesa region – 10,602 cases;

Poltava region – 1,363 cases;

Rivne region – 10,797 cases;

Sumy region – 2,724;

Ternopil region – 10,394;

Kharkiv region – 13,915;

Kherson region – 737;

Khmelnytsky region – 4,198;

Chernivtsi region – 12,640;

Cherkasy region – 2,820;

Chernihiv region – 3,034.

Data from the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk regions and the city of Sevastopol are not available. The studies were conducted by the Virology Reference Laboratory of the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as well as by regional laboratories.
