Update on the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus infection
According to the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of April 12, in Ukraine there have been officially confirmed 7,856 (335 children out of this number, 119 healthcare workers) new cases of COVID-19 infection. The number of active cases makes up 407, 589.
Since the beginning of the immunization campaign, 378,269 people have been vaccinated.
On April 11, 2021, 1,216 people were vaccinated against COVID-19. Vaccination was conducted by 145 mobile immunization teams and 848 vaccination points.
During the last 24 hours, there have been hospitalized 2,770 persons, 287 patients died, 5,355 persons recovered. There have been conducted 40,109 testings (20,831 using the PCR method, 6,133 using the ELISA method and research by rapid tests for antigen to SARS-CoV-2 – 13,145).
During the entire pandemic in Ukraine:
- 1,861,105 persons contracted COVID-19 infection;
- 1,416,215 people recovered;
- 37,301 people died;
- 8,677,716 testing have been conducted.

Data from the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk regions and the city of Sevastopol are not available. The studies were conducted by the Virology Reference Laboratory of the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as well as by regional laboratories.
