Update on the spread and prevention of COVID-19 coronavirus infection

According to the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of January 30, 2022, in Ukraine there have been officially confirmed 22,026 (2,865 children out of this number, 337 healthcare workers) new cases of COVID-19 infection.

The COVID-19 vaccination campaign started on February 24, 2021. Since the beginning of the immunization campaign, 30,300,581 vaccines have been made.

Since the beginning of the immunization campaign, 15,324,675 people have been vaccinated. On January 30, 2022, 20,983 people were vaccinated against COVID-19. Of this number 0 people got CoviShield vaccine, 2,570 – CoronaVac vaccine, 15,803 – Comirnaty vaccine, 432 – AstraZeneka, 0 – Janssen, Moderna – 2,178.

Vaccination was carried out by 400 mobile immunization teams, 1,766 vaccination points and 422 vaccination centers.

During the last 24 hours, there have been hospitalized 2,322 persons, 78 patients died, 4,346 persons recovered. There have been conducted 64,072 testings (36,354 using the PCR method, 2,756 using the ELISA method and research by rapid tests for antigen to SARS-CoV-2 – 24,962).

During the entire pandemic in Ukraine:

  • 4,064,495 persons contracted COVID-19 infection;
  • 3,622,745 people recovered;
  • 100,203 people died;
  • 18,045,688 testings have been conducted.
