    The European Community wants to see Ukraine not only as a successful country with a high level of economic development, but also as a leading country in the region. This was emphasized by the Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine Olha Stefanishyna during the online forum "Dialogues about Reforms: On the Way to Vilnius".

    The official noted that Ukraine closely cooperates with its strategic partners, and this issue has been characterized by sustainability in recent years.

    "The continued processes allow us to be more ambitious, to play a serious role in the international arena and to conduct a current dialogue with the EU as full partners," she added.

    According to Olha Stefanishyna, there is no doubt that European and Euro-Atlantic integration remains an idea that unites and allows for the promotion of systemic strategic reforms. Ukraine continues to move towards EU membership.

    "The interaction between the President, the Parliament and the Government is maintained in such a way that we can afford to think as strategically and ambitiously as possible," said the Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration.

    The next steps of the Government will be:

    • renewal of the Association Agreement. Ukraine has demonstrated the ability to meet its conditions, the functioning of the free trade area and the potential for capacity building;
    • Ukraine's accession to the European Green Deal.
