  • Oleksii Reznikov and the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey discuss the project of housing construction for Crimean Tatars

    Oleksii Reznikov, Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine, Minister for Reintegration of the Temporary Occupied Territories, and Yagmur Ahmet Guldere, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkey to Ukraine, discussed the project of housing construction for Crimean Tatars who were forced to leave their homes due to the occupation of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol city by the Russian Federation.

    In particular, it involves the construction of 1000 apartments for Crimean Tatars who are registered as internally displaced persons.

    The project envisages two stages: within the framework of the first one is the construction of 500 apartments in Kherson, Mykolaiv and Kyiv oblasts; within the framework of the second one is the construction of another 500 apartments, but the location will be determined after additional study.

    Furthermore, the Parties discussed the visit of Oleksii Reznikov to Turkey in order to present the Strategy of economic development of Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts, as well as the visit of Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts in the nearest future.
