The mission of the Government is to create conditions to make people happy. It is crucial to ensure that Ukrainian citizens become more educated and have better access to state-of-the-art information resources. That’s why the Action Program of the Ukrainian Government is totally human-oriented because it is focused on settling the acute problems of each Ukrainian citizen.
«The most important capital we have is the people, and what we need to do for them is to make them free and provide them with happiness. Free and happy people can make any country wealthy and prosperous», said Prime Minister of Ukraine Oleksiy Honcharuk in an interview with a Special edition of The Report Company for the Newsweek. The Edition was dedicated to the World Economic Forum in Davos where Oleksiy Honcharuk is staying on a two-days’ working visit through January 22-23.
The Prime Minister added that Ukraine should be viewed as a great place with exciting prospects for investment.
«Many investors should rediscover Ukraine – similar to how once upon a time America was itself discovered. Ukraine is a good investment option for many reasons. We are an excellent bridge between Europe and Asia. And we have interesting plans for investors and the first to come will get all the profits», said the Head of the Government.
Moreover, the Prime Minister singled out three major strategies to improve the investment environment for Ukraine:
▫ the rule of law to protect investor’s rights;
▫ interesting infrastructure projects, in particular, based on the public-private partnership (PPP);
▫ municipal projects in which our communities should become agents in their own right.
