From now on, the temperature of hot water delivered to the households should be between 50 degrees Celsius to 75 degrees Celsius. This applies to both collective consumers and those who have heat distribution stations.
The Government has approved relevant rules for the hot water supply services as well as model agreements. “We have identified the requirements for the quality of this particular service - hot water supply, as well as determined the unit of measure for the consumed amount. It will allow our citizens to demand quality services, and in case of the failure to get the right to get the utility bill recalculated,” Prime Minister Oleksiy Honcharuk commented.
Apart from that, the procedure of payment for the service and model contracts for its provision have been determined. And the rules are designed to establish order in relations between providers and consumers. It is assumed that the service provider ensures its supply with the appropriate level of safety, temperature and pressure. The procedures of water metering, maintenance of metering devices and submission of indicators were also fixed.
