The Minister for Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine Oleksii Chernyshov met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Canada to Ukraine Larysa Galadza.
In particular, they discussed the results of decentralization reform and its significant role in resisting russian aggression.
"I was happy to meet with the Ambassador of Canada to Ukraine Larisa Galadza. I was grateful to hear words of support and recognition of the importance of decentralization reform. Decentralization has significantly contributed to the stability of our state and caused changes in the Ukrainian identity. Today, Ukrainians are more united than ever around common values and territory. And now we are working with international partners to prepare and protect ourselves from all possible threats posed to our land by the russians," said Oleksii Chernyshov.
"Decentralization is a really great story to tell. It has reinforced Ukrainian resilience," noted the Ambassador of Canada to Ukraine.
The Minister also conveyed to the Ambassador his vision of the stages of reform and reconstruction of Ukraine after peace is achieved.
