The President's program "Great Construction" never ceases, but on the contrary - is actively developing. After all, last year proved the effectiveness of the program in each area. This year, the social facilities of the program have been expanded with projects for the construction and renovation of hospitals and cultural facilities.
In 2021, the Great Construction includes 500 objects. These are 95 schools, 70 kindergartens, 80 sports facilities, 200 outpatient clinics. For the first time, the program includes 35 hospitals and 20 cultural facilities. It is planned to allocate UAH 9 billion for the implementation of these projects.
"The objective of the Ministry for Communities and Territories Development together with other state bodies and local authorities is to create a convenient and accessible infrastructure in all regions of Ukraine in the coming years, which concerns all aspects of life of our citizens: education, health, security, administrative services, culture and sports," stressed the Minister for Communities and Territories Development Oleksii Chernyshov, speaking at the third All-Ukrainian Forum "Ukraine-30. Infrastructure Unites."
According to the Minister, over the next few years, 100% of schools included in the program will meet all the conditions of the new educational space, which provides for interactive whiteboards, modern classes in chemistry, physics, biology, equipped with the latest equipment. Also, 100% of Ukrainian children should be provided with places in kindergartens.
In addition, outpatient clinics should appear in every community. Long-term investments also include the rehabilitation of hub hospitals and the reconstruction of children's, adults' and specialized regional hospitals.
Every community with a population of over 20,000 should have a stadium with professional coating and athletic tracks. And in communities with a population under 20,000 - it should have a sports field with artificial coating.
Each community should also have a security center, a modern cultural center, and an administrative service center within a maximum of 30 minutes of getting to the CASP.
