Deputy Prime Minister for Restoration and Minister for Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine Oleksii Kuleba took part in a meeting of the Entrepreneurship Support Council under the President of Ukraine.

The meeting was chaired by the Head of the Presidential Office, Kyrylo Budanov, with the participation of Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko, representatives of the Government, the Office of the President, and the business community.

Participants discussed key issues of supporting Ukrainian businesses in wartime conditions, in particular access to financing, insurance of war risks, support for enterprises in frontline regions, and adaptation to European standards.

“The scope of the Ministry’s responsibilities is extremely broad – from the construction sector and housing policy to ports, logistics and transport infrastructure. However, our key goal remains unchanged – to support those who are currently keeping the country’s economy afloat. These are construction businesses, port operators, transport and logistics companies, which even in wartime conditions provide jobs, stability for communities and keep the economy moving. Our priority is to make processes as transparent, clear and digitalised as possible: from permitting procedures to the management of state assets. It is through transparency, deregulation and digital solutions that we are creating conditions in which business can operate more quickly and invest in recovery,” emphasised Oleksii Kuleba.

Business representatives stressed the need to strengthen insurance mechanisms, support for enterprises in frontline regions, and the development of financing tools for energy resilience.

Following the meeting, it was decided to work through the proposals put forward and to identify those responsible for their implementation. The next meeting of the Council is scheduled in two months’ time.
