Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture collaborates with business associations to ensure the strong representation of Ukrainian companies at URC 2026
The Ukraine Recovery Conference 2026 (URC 2026), slated for June 25–26 in Gdańsk (Poland), is set to become one of the core international platforms for attracting investment, developing partnerships, and promoting practical solutions for Ukraine’s reconstruction. The preparations for the Conference and the importance of engaging the business community in URC 2026 were discussed during a meeting with representatives of leading business associations, chaired by Deputy Minister of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture Denys Bashlyk.
Business associations representing companies in sectors such as construction, agriculture and agribusiness, energy, the defense industry, technology, entrepreneurship, and international trade joined the discussion. The broad format of the meeting allowed for bringing together in one place the associations on which the proper representation of Ukrainian companies during URC 2026 largely depends.
This year, URC 2026 is placing its main emphasis on business, investments, and financial solutions for economic recovery. That is why the business dimension will be the central part of the conference program and will feature the largest number of panel discussions. For Ukraine, this is an opportunity not only to identify reconstruction priorities but also to ensure active participation by companies in the international dialogue on new projects, manufacturing, infrastructure, and economic growth.
It is expected that approximately 1,000 companies will participate in URC 2026: one-third of them will be Ukrainian, one-third Polish, and the remaining third international.
The meeting participants paid special attention to the Business Fair—an exhibition and trade fair that will take place as part of URC and will be the largest in its history this year. Here, companies will have the opportunity to present their projects, solutions, and investment opportunities to an international audience. In total, 250 companies will join the business fair, 80 of which are Ukrainian. For domestic businesses, this is a real chance to directly reach international partners, investors, and potential clients and present their work at one of the key platforms dedicated to Ukraine’s reconstruction.
Companies from the defense, energy, infrastructure, logistics, industrial manufacturing, agriculture and food industry, IT, medical technology, construction, and other sectors are invited to participate in the business fair. Applications for participation can be submitted until April 24.
“Our goal is to ensure that Ukrainian businesses’ participation in URC 2026 yields tangible results. This is not just about representing Ukraine, but about forging new partnerships, attracting investments, securing contracts, and implementing solutions that will contribute to economic recovery starting today. That is precisely why we are involving business associations in the preparatory process at an early stage—so that Ukrainian companies are well-represented, visible, and competitive,” said Deputy Minister Denys Bashlyk.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed on next steps to prepare Ukrainian businesses for participation in URC 2026. Representatives of business associations received information on participation requirements, key deadlines, and engagement formats, which will help them quickly communicate these opportunities to a wider range of companies.
