Oleksiy Chernyshov starts working visit to Austria

During his visit to Austria, Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine - Minister of National Unity of Ukraine Oleksii Chernyshov met with Andreas Achrainer, CEO of the Federal Agency for Reception and Support Services and Refugee Coordinator, as well as Ambassador Gerhard Sailler of the Federal Ministry of European and Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Austria.

The parties discussed interaction and strengthening of cooperation between the two countries in such areas as protection and support of Ukrainians in Austria, extension of temporary protection of Ukrainian citizens in the EU and mechanisms of voluntary return of Ukrainians.

In Vienna, Oleksiy Chernyshov also met with representatives of the Austrian initiative “Train of Hope”.

"This organization provides basic support to displaced persons from Ukraine in Austria, helping them to adapt and receive the necessary services in the first days of arrival. We discussed opportunities for further cooperation," the Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine said.

Oleksiy Chernyshov thanked the European partners for their openness and readiness for joint solutions.
