Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Unity of Ukraine Oleksiy Chernyshov met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Türkiye to Ukraine Mustafa Levent Bilgen.

The parties discussed areas of cooperation within the work of the Ministry of National Unity. In particular, they discussed support for Ukrainians who have received temporary protection in Türkiye since the beginning of the full-scale invasion.

According to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in Ukraine (UNHCR Ukraine), more than 35,000 Ukrainian citizens have been granted refugee status in Türkiye.

Oleksiy Chernyshov thanked the Ambassador for the constructive dialogue and readiness for further cooperation.

“I am sincerely grateful to Türkiye for the important military and humanitarian assistance to Ukraine in this difficult period,” the Deputy Prime Minister concluded.
