Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Unity of Ukraine Oleksiy Chernyshov discussed with Council of Europe Commissioner for Human Rights Michael O’Flaherty aspects related to the living conditions of Ukrainians during the period of martial law, as well as international support for Ukraine.
The meeting also focused on the main activities of the Ministry of National Unity and projects aimed at supporting Ukrainians abroad.
“It is important that our cooperation with partners such as the Council of Europe helps to create the necessary conditions to protect the rights of our citizens and promote social cohesion, even when they are temporarily outside the country,” said Oleksiy Chernyshov.
The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Unity thanked the Council of Europe Commissioner for Human Rights for the constructive dialogue and his attention to the issues on the Ukrainian agenda.
