  • Oleksandr Kubrakov: We are launching a new service for carriers as part of the eCherha service

The Ministry for Communities, Territories and Infrastructure Development is launching a new service for international carriers as part of the eCherha project - the ability to track all online reservations in your personal account.

Users can view all active queues through their personal account in the Shlyakh system. This includes the status of each truck and bus registered to the carrier. The new option became available through the integration of the eCherha and Shlyakh systems.

"The Ministry maintains a constant dialog with carriers and drivers, and all constructive suggestions for improving the eCherha service are always taken into account. The function of driver replacement, availability in seven languages, the ability of the carrier to monitor the queues of their cars simultaneously - this is just a part of the functionality that was developed for the convenience of users. We continue to work on scaling the service for all vehicles crossing our border," said Oleksandr Kubrakov, Deputy Prime Minister for Restoration of Ukraine, Minister for Communities, Territories and Infrastructure Development of Ukraine.

The status of all vehicles in the electronic queue can be checked in the personal account of the Shlyakh system in the My eCherha section. In particular, the carrier can view:

    • Vehicles registered in the electronic queue,
    • Vehicle status in the eCherha queue,
    • Data on the company, vehicle, trailer,
    • Number of cargo customs declaration.

As a reminder, the electronic recording service for crossing the border by bus has been tested since August 1. Currently, the testing covers eight checkpoints, regular and irregular routes. Based on the results of the test, a slotting service will soon be available, which will allow users to choose the time of border crossing according to the bus schedule.

    Background

Since the launch of the eCherha, 415,000 trucks and almost 7,000 buses have crossed the border using electronic records.

The Electronic Border Crossing Queue project eCherha is being implemented by the Ministry for Communities, Territories and Infrastructure Development of Ukraine in cooperation with the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, Ukrtransbezpeka, the State Agency for Restoration and Infrastructure Development of Ukraine, the State Customs Service of Ukraine, and the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine with the support of the TAPAS Project/Transparency and Accountability in Public Administration and Services.
