  • Oleksandr Kubrakov: Record volume of cargo exported via Ukrainian corridor in February

In February, the cargo turnover of the ports of Greater Odesa totalled 8 million tonnes, of which 5.2 million tonnes were the products of Ukrainian farmers. According to Oleksandr Kubrakov, Deputy Prime Minister for Restoration of Ukraine and Minister for Communities, Territories and Infrastructure Development, these are record export figures not only for the Ukrainian corridor but also for the entire period of the full-scale invasion.

“We are gradually approaching the pre-war export figures through these ports. Today, more than 90% of all agricultural exports go through the ports of Greater Odesa and the Danube ports. Ukraine remains one of the key guarantors of food security. This is especially true for grain exports to Africa and Asia. Since the launch of the Ukrainian Corridor, 42 countries have received almost 28 million tonnes of cargo, of which 19 million tonnes are grains and oilseeds,” the Deputy Prime Minister stressed.

“Currently, 113 vessels are waiting to enter the ports of Odesa, Chornomorsk and Pivdennyi, to export almost 3 million tonnes of cargo.
