The blockade of the Yahodyn-Dorohusk border crossing has ended. Since 14:00 there has been stable truck traffic. This was announced by Oleksandr Kubrakov, Deputy Prime Minister for Restoration of Ukraine and Minister for Communities, Territories and Infrastructure Development.
Fifteen vehicles have moved towards Ukraine and are at the checkpoint. In addition, 25 trucks are being cleared to go to Poland.
“The blockade of the largest cargo crossing point lasted more than a month. During that time, the team from the ministry and the embassy literally dealt with the issue of unblocking it on a daily basis. We held dozens of meetings and negotiations at every possible level. It has been a difficult task, but it is not yet complete.
The border must be fully unblocked and there must be no more blockades.
We will continue to work, taking into account the interests of our carriers and the state,” said Oleksandr Kubrakov.
