“In 2025, we want to ensure fair pensions for Ukrainians and complete the ePotential reform, which will help people to fully recover and actively participate in public life. We will work to further support citizens affected by the war, as well as those returning from captivity,” said the head of the Ministry of Social Policy.
According to Oksana Zholnovych, the introduction of new and scaling up of even more effective social services for families with children, veterans, the elderly, people with disabilities, and internally displaced persons is a top priority for the Ministry of Social Policy.
“In 2024, we first introduced a rental subsidy for IDPs, allocated UAH 15 billion to compensate for the purchase of housing for those who lost their only home due to the war. Also, to support our veterans, for the first time, we have included the best components, the most expensive ones on the market, in the list of auxiliary rehabilitation equipment, and significantly revised the prices for all auxiliary rehabilitation equipment,” the Minister added.
Oksana Zholnovych also noted the achievements in the area of support for families with children, including the “Child is not alone” payment, support for foster families, including an increase in financial support for carers.
