Prozorro Market, the electronic catalogue for public procurement, has reached a record high, with sales of UAH 100 billion. Currently, 14,000 customers and over 6,000 entrepreneurs use this tool. Thanks to the active involvement of businesses and high competition, over UAH 12.5 billion of budget funds have already been saved.

Electricity is the most popular category in Prozorro Market, with 16,000 deals worth UAH 25.8 billion already concluded.

Other popular goods include:

  • Fuel – UAH 17.3 billion.
  • Medicines – UAH 13.1 billion.
  • Drones – UAH 4 billion.
  • Medical supplies – UAH 3.8 billion.
  • Meat – UAH 3.6 billion.

In addition, customers buy food, office equipment, defence goods, school buses and much more through Prozorro Market. The largest part of the e-catalogue, covering consumer goods, is administered by the state institution “Professional Procurement”.

“Sales in Prozorro Market have reached a record 100 billion hryvnias, with a quarter of this amount going to electricity purchases. Also, public procuring entities, which number more than 14,000, most often buy fuel, medicines, drones and food through the catalogue. For them, this tool has a number of advantages: procurement speed – only 9 days, verified suppliers, ready-made tender documents and contract templates. For the state, this is a significant saving of resources – we managed to save more than UAH 12.5 billion of budget funds. We are now working on changes that will make this tool even more convenient, in particular, allowing customers to compare prices for goods,’ said Yuliia Svyrydenko, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy.

The necessary goods can be purchased in Prozorro Market in just 9 days, as the system already has verified suppliers, tender documents and contract templates. The procurement process is as simple as possible: the customer selects the goods, forms a request, and entrepreneurs submit their price offers. The system then automatically selects the supplier with the most favourable price.

“During the full-scale war, the speed and efficiency of procurement became critical. We realised that we could not afford unnecessary bureaucracy, so we accelerated the qualification of suppliers and prepared all the necessary tender documentation. Now our main focus is to expand the range of goods so that government customers can quickly find everything they need for both humanitarian and defence needs,” said Yevhen Yakubovskyi, Director of Professional Procurement.
