The Ministry of Digital Transformation jointly with the Innovation Development Fund has launched a YouTube project called the Cabinet of Startups of Ukraine. It will become a new platform for promoting Ukrainian IT products.
The project participants will pitch their business ideas to Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov and AIN.UA Editor-in-Chief Illya Kabachynskyi in an elevator in the Cabinet of Ministers building. They will have one minute to talk about everything. This is the time it takes to get from the second floor to the tenth floor.
“We will turn the Cabinet of Ministers into the Cabinet of Startups. And the elevator I take to work every day will become a platform for pitching cool ideas. I believe that Ukraine can become a country of startups. Thanks to the work of the Innovation Development Fund, Ukrainian startups can implement new projects and create revolutionary products. But the development potential is much greater. Especially in the field of military-tech projects,” said Mykhailo Fedorov.
The Innovation Development Fund has selected the projects that would receive development grants this year. They had an opportunity to pitch their ideas to Mykhailo Fedorov and Illya Kabachinsky. They also received useful feedback and expert advice.

In late December, the Innovation Development Fund was transferred under the authority of the Ministry of Digital Transformation. This made it possible to systematically implement ideas and develop startups under the coordination of the Ministry. The Fund pays special attention to military-tech projects – technological products in the defense sector that help gain an advantage on the battlefield and bring victory closer.
