  • Volodymyr Groysman: New opportunities and resources offered by decentralization need to be invested in all regional development sectors

    The new opportunities and resources transferred to the regions due to the decentralization reform need to be efficiently invested in all sectors of development, primarily, in education. This was announced by Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman during communication with media outlets of Rivne region.

    The Head of Government is visiting Rivne region today and in the framework of the trip he visited new kindergarten and a renovated hub school that became a large educational complex of the whole region.

     "It is important to create maximum conditions for education development", Volodymyr Groysman said. "When we started our work, the queue in kindergartens was 96 thousand children. And now we have reduced it by almost 60 thousand. We have to provide 100% of places in kindergartens all over the country. We are implementing the New Ukrainian School – a new standard of education – and provide opportunities for higher education development. The reform is gaining momentum in this sector".

    The Prime Minister stressed that the task of the authorities at any level is to create an environment for dreams and plans to be realized.
