The Ministry of Social Policy welcomes the creation of a new subsystem of the Unified Information Database of Internally Displaced Persons "Information Search System" (ISS - ed.). The subsystem was developed and implemented by the State Enterprise "Information and Computing Center of the Ministry of Social Policy" with the support of the Council of Europe Project. This subsystem is a mechanism of multi-factor parametric search of information about IDPs with a tool of flexible formation of selection results.

"The system has significantly improved the process of searching for IDPs at the district, regional and central levels, expanded its criteria and displayed the results with the summary and the possibility of downloading it for use in work.

Also, with the help of the ISS, it became possible to search and select information about the needs of IDPs: food packages, winter clothes or shoes, enrollment of children in school or kindergarten, treatment and rehabilitation activities, etc. This information is important for forecasting and assessing the needs of internally displaced persons and effective humanitarian response.

The subsystem is currently being tested in 10 areas of Kyiv and will be implemented throughout Ukraine by the end of January," said Deputy Minister of Digital Development, Digital Transformation and Digitalization Kostiantyn Koshelenko.

Employees of social protection bodies and interested central executive authorities can now search for information about internally displaced persons in the IDP database online by 42 parameters and their arbitrary combination, for example

- by IDP certificate data

- by address place of residence

- by place of registration;

- by social status;

- by disability and other criteria.
