Consolidation of all democratic states will contribute to resolving the existing military conflicts in the territory of the GUAM Member States.  Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman made this statement during a joint conference of  the GUAM Summit participants, held today, on October 5, in Chisinau.

The Head of Government stressed that it is clear to everyone that "who is the initiator of aggression" concerning the situation in Ukrane.

"For four years , We have been witnessing  we see a blatant  attack by Russian troops against the independent state. The whole democratic world  is united around the pain that our peoples have encountered (the GUAM members).  But it is not enough to counteract (aggression) only within the framework of  GUAM. There should be a consolidation of the entire democratic world", Volodymyr Groysman said. "We need to ensure that Russia and its leadership give up their barbaric plans that bring war and casualties to our land."

The Head of Government stressed that even frozen conflicts  are nothing but poverty, lack of human rights, restrictions on freedoms. "And in Ukraine this is observed both in the temporarily occupied Crimea and  Donbas. Today, unity of all democratic states which are committed to democratic values and respect for the law is of utmost importance. And here our position (GUAM states) is common", Volodymyr Groysman stressed,

He stressed that the only plan to counter Russia - a daily and consistent struggle – in the East and in the diplomatic arena. "Ukraine does not want anything more than to renew its borders and proclaim peace - on the whole continent," the Prime Minister stressed.

Volodymyr Groysman noted that the war against Ukraine is a hybrid war when there is information, economic, and energy aggression. That is why we need a clear world leadership, new countermeasures and he added the country will win.
