    The policy of the Government of Ukraine despite all challenges of the inter-election period remains solid  - macroeconomic stability, economic growth and structural reforms. And the support of our strategic partners, first of all, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) is of utmost importance. Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman made this statement during a meeting with President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development Sir Suma Chakrabarti. The President of the EBRD is visiting Kyiv and it is his 11th visit to Ukraine, and this is a proof of strategic relations with Ukraine.

    The Bank is one of the biggest investors in Ukraine’s economy. In total its input makes around EUR 13.5 billion within 427 projects. The portfolio includes public sector development projects, small and medium business development projects, the banking sector, and energy.

    "I praise the level of our cooperation. I am glad to note that we demonstrate good dynamics this year. We appreciate the support we receive in implementing reforms. And we undeniably appreciate the resources that the Bank invests in the Ukraine’s economy. Your visit is another confirmation that we will heighten cooperation despite the inter-election period. Our scenario is the responsibility, consolidation of Ukraine as a reliable partner country. Thank you for your readiness to support our country", Volodymyr Groysman claimed.

    "We have staunchest support for you. This is my 11th visit to Ukraine, we have a powerful team here. Ukraine is in TOP 5 partner countries of the EBRD", Sir Suma Chakrabarti underscored.

    During the meeting, the sides discussed the current economic situation in the country, prospects of renewal of cooperation with other partners - first of all, the International Monetary Fund,  touched upon the issues related to energy reforms, the process of unbundling of Naftogaz and restoration of large privatization.

    "My policy remains unwavering-macroeconomic stability, economic growth and structural reforms", Volodymyr Groysman assured. The Prime Minister also aired a proposal to hold EBRD 2021 Annual Meeting in Ukraine.
