In the framework of further transformation process in the healthcare sector the funding for the industry has increased by 13% in 2020. The sum worth UAH 72 billion is planned to introduce the structural reform of healthcare financing in the State Budget 2020. These funds will be directed to ensure the implementation of the Medical Guarantees Program (MGP).

Next year, all types of medical services provided for by the Law of Ukraine on the state financial guarantees will be provided within the framework of the MGP - a package of medical services guaranteed by the state to the patient. It will cover the list of essential health services at all levels of medical assistance.
