Land reform opens up new opportunities for landowners, farmers, communities and all Ukrainians who have previously been unable to acquire and dispose of land.
A new section - Land Reform - is available on the Diia.Business portal. Entrepreneurs will now receive all relevant information about opportunities to develop their own business in the field of land relations.
The Land Reform page provides information on all the new opportunities for landowners, farmers and communities, as well as for those Ukrainians who previously had no opportunity to purchase and dispose of land.
The information is divided into three following areas:
• "I am a landowner." The landowner finds out to whom he can sell the land, at what price, what documents are needed for this, whether it is possible to sell part of the land and what taxes will have to be paid at the time of sale.
• "I am a buyer." The buyer will receive comprehensive information on all conditions of land purchase and collection of necessary documentation.
• "I am a tenant." The lessee will learn about his priority in the purchase of land and the principle of realization of the preemptive right, as well as important nuances of the lease agreement.
In addition, on the page every citizen will find reference materials and instructions on land plot use, as well as on the purchase and sale of land. In particular:
• the procedure for exercising the preemptive right during the sale of land;
• recommendations of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy on land use and purchase;
• how to prepare for the sale of land shares.
The section was launched jointly with the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), USAID Transformation Communications Activity.
