Mobile shelters to be sent to Kherson region
The security situation in Kherson region remains fragile. During a working visit to the region by Iryna Vereshchuk, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine, local authorities reported a need for mobile shelters to be set up in public places.
With the assistance of the Ministry of Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories, 10 mobile shelters from the Ukrainian Red Cross Society will be sent to Kherson region. There is also an agreement to provide another 10 shelters to be delivered to the region at a later date.
A shelter will protect a person from shrapnel wounds. It will also shield against multiple rocket launcher fire and blast waves.
They will be installed in different areas of the city, particularly in places where people are likely to congregate.
