Prime Minister Sergii Koretskyi chaired a meeting of the Energy Headquarters
Today, Prime Minister of Ukraine Sergii Koretskyi heard reports from the First Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Energy and the heads of energy companies: Naftogaz, Ukrenergo, Energoatom, Ukrhydroenergo, Centrenergo, DTEK, and the Gas Transmission System Operator of Ukraine.
The meeting participants reviewed forecast balances of electricity and gas, considering different scenarios for the winter season. Progress of repair works at generating facilities and installation of additional protective measures were analyzed in detail.
"I focused everyone on priorities – protecting critical infrastructure facilities and creating reserves of fuel and equipment for rapid restoration of damaged sites," noted the Prime Minister. "We identified areas where work must be accelerated immediately, taking into account the intensification and nature of russian strikes."
Sergii Koretskyi emphasized the importance of energy companies working proactively. Following the meeting, the Prime Minister issued relevant instructions, with the Ministry of Energy responsible for coordination and oversight of their implementation.
