Mykola Solskyi, Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, held a regular online meeting with Vladimir Bolea, Minister of Agriculture and Food Industry of the Republic of Moldova. The meeting was also attended by representatives of the Ministry for Communities, Territories and Infrastructure Development of Ukraine, the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, and the State Customs Service of Ukraine.

The parties discussed issues related to the electronic queuing system at the Moldovan-Romanian border and the need to synchronise it with the Ukrainian eCherha. This will help to avoid congestion of trucks in Moldova and facilitate faster transit of goods from Ukraine to Romania.

An agreement has now been reached on technical cooperation to speed up the synchronisation process.
