The IMF approves the first review of the new EFF arrangement: Ukraine will receive approximately USD 690 million
The IMF Executive Board has completed the first review of Ukraine’s Extended Fund Facility (EFF) arrangement. This paves the way for Ukraine to receive approximately USD 690 million from the IMF in the coming days. The Prime Minister Sergii Koretskyi announced.
With this disbursement, total financing provided to Ukraine under the EFF program will reach approximately USD 2.2 billion.
"Ukraine met all quantitative performance criteria and indicative targets set for the end of March," noted the Head of Government.
As part of the review, updated timelines for structural reforms and additional measures to ensure the program remains on track were agreed.
"The Government is committed to accelerating the implementation of these reforms. They are essential to maintaining access to external financing, strengthening financial resilience, and creating the conditions for recovery, long-term economic growth, and Ukraine’s accession to the European Union," stressed the Prime Minister.
