eOselia: 132 Ukrainian families received affordable mortgages over a week
Last week, under the affordable mortgage eOselia program, Ukrainians received 132 new loans totaling UAH 259.1 million.
Loans at 3% were granted to:
• 51 servicemen and representatives of the security sector
• 4 educators
• 6 medical workers
• 1 scientist
Loans at 7% were granted to:
• 48 Ukrainians without their own housing
• 22 internally displaced persons (IDPs).
The largest number of loans last week were issued in Kyiv region — 24, Cherkasy region — 5, and Dnipropetrovsk region — 4.
By property type, 79 loans were issued for first-sale housing, including 46 loans for properties under construction. Another 53 loans were issued for housing on the secondary market.
Since the beginning of 2026, 4,673 loans worth UAH 9.1 billion have been issued under the eOselia program. In total, 27,285 families have received housing loans worth UAH 48 billion since the program’s launch.
It should be noted that since July 17, the state compensates the interest rate for war veterans and families of fallen Defenders of Ukraine who take out a mortgage under eOselia: up to 3% per year during the first 10 years of the loan agreement, and up to 6% from the 11th year. Eligible groups include: combatants, persons with disabilities due to war, war participants, families of deceased veterans, and families of fallen Defenders of Ukraine.
The eOselia program also offers additional opportunities for IDPs and residents of frontline territories. It provides state compensation of 70% of the down payment, 70% of monthly payments during the first year of the loan, as well as up to UAH 40,000 for related expenses when arranging a mortgage.
Background
The eOselia program is part of the Made in Ukraine policy, which aims to stimulate demand for Ukrainian goods and create favorable conditions for the development of production.
The program is being implemented by the Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture in partnership with the Ministry of Digital Transformation and PJSC Ukrfinzhytlo. The partner banks of eOselia are Oschadbank, Privatbank, UGB Bank, Globus Bank, Sky Bank, Sense Bank, Bank Credit Dnipro, TASCOMBANK, BISBANK, and Radabank.
