MCIP launches the United Platform for Culture and Media amid war
The Ministry of Culture and Information Policy (MCIP) is launching a new project, the United Platform of Culture and Media during the War. It will host the initiatives and funds implemented by the MCIP since the beginning of the large-scale russian invasion.
So far, more than 20 projects have been created together with partners, volunteers and specialists from various fields. The projects are aimed to draw the world's attention to the war in Ukraine and consolidate the international community in the face of russian aggression.
From now on, evidence of russia's war crimes, up-to-date information on the destruction of cultural heritage, unique photos and videos, useful resources for learning the Ukrainian language, anti-disinformation projects, wartime creativity and many other initiatives are available on one site in two languages: https://united.mkip.gov.ua/en/.
"History repeats itself, and today putin's missiles are purposefully erasing Ukrainian museums and architectural monuments from the face of the earth, while russian propagandists are removing everything related to Ukraine's unique history and culture from textbooks. To support our culture informationally and to help people abroad to know about the real actions of russia is one of the missions of the Ministry today," said Minister of Culture and Information Policy Oleksandr Tkachenko.
