On October 21, 2020, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted a protocol decision initiated by the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy on the introduction of the Euronews Ukraine media project in 2021.

The MCIP initiative is aimed, in particular, at strengthening information security and promoting Ukraine abroad.

The Government has authorized the Minister of Culture and Information Policy Oleksandr Tkachenko to hold relevant negotiations with the limited liability company EURONEWS.

Euronews is an international, multilingual media outlet that covers around 160 countries and covers international news in the light of the views of the European community and in accordance with the principles of independence, pluralism, completeness and nonpartisanship.

Cooperation with this experienced media will allow to expand the activities of the news center under the Euronews brand in the domestic media market, aimed at meeting the information needs of Ukrainian society and coverage of international news of socio-political nature, as well as news in technology, business, culture, tourism, sports, etc.
