On February 6, 2022, the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy (MCIP) presented the identity of the national campaign the World of Skovoroda. It started exactly 300 days before the celebration of the 300th anniversary of Hryhoriy Skovoroda's birth.

This large-scale project is designed to convey the diversity of the image of a prominent Ukrainian, move away from the stereotypical perception of H. Skovoroda as just a ‘philosopher with a string bag’ and involve Ukrainians in a new understanding of his legacy.

"The celebration of the 300th anniversary of Hryhoriy Skovoroda’s birth is one of the key cultural and artistic events of 2022. We start 300 days before the philosopher's birthday to give Ukrainians the opportunity to fully experience the depth and importance of Skovoroda's figure. In addition to the activities organized by the MCIP and the State Agency of Arts and Art Education, we call on creative communities across the country to join the world of Skovoroda and together reload the perception of him. We want Ukrainians to be proud that Ukraine is home to one of the most influential philosophers in Eastern Europe," said Oleksandr Tkachenko, Minister of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine.

The project will include events in educational, cultural, scientific institutions, museums. Among the planned steps are as follows: the publication of some of Skovoroda's works or works about him with the support of the UBI (Ukrainian Book Institute), in cooperation with the State Cinema there will be held pitching events dedicated to discussion of movies and cartoons. In addition, a project is planned at UNESCO headquarters, while the Great Restoration will cover Skovorodynivka. After all, this is an extremely important place for Hryhoriy Savych Skovoroda. It is also planned to select projects with the support of the UCF (Ukrainian Cultural Foundation).
