Update on the spread and prevention of COVID-19 coronavirus infection

According to the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of February 6, 2022, in Ukraine there have been officially confirmed 23,378 (2,242 children out of this number, 394 healthcare workers) new cases of COVID-19 infection.

The COVID-19 vaccination campaign started on February 24, 2021. Since the beginning of the immunization campaign, 30,718,608 vaccines have been made.

Since the beginning of the immunization campaign, 15,458,482 people have been vaccinated. On February 6, 2022, 18,626 people were vaccinated against COVID-19. Of this number 0 people got CoviShield vaccine, 2,922 – CoronaVac vaccine, 13,815 – Comirnaty vaccine, 266 – AstraZeneka, 0 – Janssen, Moderna – 1,623.

Vaccination was carried out by 398 mobile immunization teams, 1,899 vaccination points and 407 vaccination centers.

During the last 24 hours, there have been hospitalized 2,699 persons, 115 patients died, 5,024 persons recovered. There have been conducted 74,083 testings (40,818 using the PCR method, 2,618 using the ELISA method and research by rapid tests for antigen to SARS-CoV-2 – 30,647).

During the entire pandemic in Ukraine:

  • 4,307,437 persons contracted COVID-19 infection;
  • 3,681,092 people recovered;
  • 101,392 people died;
  • 18,603,958 testings have been conducted.
