Ukraine's international reserves have  reached $21.84 billion during the term of office of the incumbent Government which is the highest figure in recent years. Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman said this during a Government meeting. Today, on 21 August, the Prime Minister presented the current state of affairs in the economy, social sphere, education, medicine, defense and outlined the main priorities that need to be continued.

The Head of Government emphasized that three years of the current Government were a difficult period - overcoming unprecedented challenges amid war and loss of territories and economic potential.

"Our Government has laid a good foundation for achieving efficient results. International reserves at the time when we took the office made up $ 13.2 billion. We leave the next Government almost $ 22 billion. The course remains stable. We have reduced our debt-to-GDP. And another indicator is inflation. We have reached a clear figure. This year we have every chance of getting less than 8% year-on-year inflation", the Prime Minister stressed.

The Head of Government also recalled that in the spring of 2014, when Arseniy Yatsenyuk was appointed the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Treasury Single Account was worth UAH 108 thousand. Now, the Treasury Account of the country contains almost UAH 130 billion.
