Etsy has launched the Etsy Payments system in Ukraine. Now, Ukrainian entrepreneurs will have the possibility to open new stores on the Etsy global marketplace for handmade goods.

"Etsy is one of the world's best platforms for online business. Now all its advantages are available to Ukrainians. Our entrepreneurs will now offer and sell goods to more than 90 million buyers from around the world. For small and microbusinesses, this is a very significant support and opportunity for scaling," said Mykhailo Fedorov, Deputy Prime Minister for Innovation, Education, Science and Technology, Minister of Digital Transformation.

The launch of Etsy Payments opens up access to global markets for Ukrainian small businesses. This was made possible thanks to the comprehensive work of the Ministry of Digital Transformation to expand opportunities for Ukrainians to participate in the international e-commerce ecosystem.

Sellers who are registered with Etsy Payments will have access to the Etsy Purchase Protection system and will be eligible to receive dedicated round-the-clock support and easily manage all financial information of their Etsy store.
