Ministry of Digital Transformation: Making the gambling market transparent together with the Economic Security Bureau and PlayCity

The Ministry of Digital Transformation has signed a memorandum with the Economic Security Bureau of Ukraine (ESBU) and PlayCity to strengthen efforts against illegal gambling and establish transparent rules in the gambling market. 

The document lays the foundation for systematic collaboration between the teams, from sharing analytics to jointly responding to violations. 

"We are building a long-term, systematic partnership that will enable effective coordination of state actions in controlling and preventing illegal activities in the gambling industry," said Natalia Denikeieva, Deputy Minister of Digital Transformation for Digital Economy. 

What the collaboration entails: 

- Joining efforts to combat the illegal organization of gambling; 

- Information exchange to identify and investigate violations; 

- Cooperation to uncover tax evasion schemes; 

- Coordination of communication and educational initiatives to de-shadow the market. 

We are working to make Ukraine’s gambling market as transparent as possible while illegal operations impossible.
