Ministry of Social Policy, Family and Unity has approved funding for over 50,000 applications for a one-time payment of UAH 6,500

The Ministry of Social Policy, Family, and Unity of Ukraine has funded one-time cash assistance payments of UAH 6,500 for 50,721 people who did not receive these funds in 2025 due to the end of the fiscal year.

The state has funded payments totaling UAH 326.6 million. The majority of people have already received their funds; the rest will receive the financial assistance within a week.

Previously, UAH 2.43 billion was paid out to 374,000 recipients.

As a reminder, the most vulnerable groups are eligible for payments of UAH 6,500:

• individuals receiving assistance for low-income families—for each child in such a family;

• individuals receiving housing assistance for internally displaced persons (IDPs)—for each child in such a family;

• guardians and custodians receiving state assistance for children under their guardianship or custody—for each child;

• foster parents or adoptive parents who receive state social assistance for children with disabilities living in family-type children’s homes and foster families—for each child;

• single pensioners with a pension of up to UAH 9,444 who receive a care allowance;

• persons with Group I disabilities who receive housing assistance for IDPs.

As a reminder, the Ministry of Social Policy, Family, and Unity of Ukraine has developed amendments to the resolution regulating the procedure for providing housing assistance to internally displaced persons.

They provide for expanding the categories of beneficiaries so that, regardless of family income, children of internally displaced persons receive housing assistance, as well as new opportunities are created for people who are unable to work.
