The Ministry of Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories has allocated UAH 30.5 million to regional budgets to compensate institutions for accommodating IDPs.

These are municipal institutions, state educational institutions, and jointly owned institutions of territorial communities managed by regional and district councils.

In particular, funds in the amount of almost UAH 16.4 million were allocated to provide compensation for utilities to institutions that provided free accommodation to internally displaced persons in July this year.

In addition, the Ministry allocated more than UAH 14.1 million to the regional and Kyiv city budgets to cover additional costs for such institutions for the period from March 2022 to June 2024.

The Government allocated these funds from the reserve fund of the state budget. In accordance with the relevant orders of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the Ministry of Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories directed them to local budgets to pay compensation to institutions that sheltered IDPs.
