The Ministry of Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories informs that the evacuation of citizens to safe regions of Ukraine continues. In particular, the mandatory evacuation from the Donetsk region has been ongoing since August 2022. Thus, over 9 months, about 70,000 people have moved to safe regions. Among them are more than 8,000 children and more than 3,000 people with reduced mobility.
The evacuation from the de-occupied territories, which began last autumn, is also ongoing. Over 25,000 people have left the Kharkiv region in the past eight months. More than 23,000 people have evacuated from the recently liberated territories of Kherson region in six months.
All measures for the centralised relocation of citizens to safe regions of Ukraine are planned in advance. The authorities, international organisations and volunteers are making every effort to ensure the safety of our citizens.
We remind you that if you plan to evacuate, you can contact the round-the-clock hotline of the Ministry for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories: 15-48. For messages via WhatsApp/Telegram/Viber messengers, the phone number is (096) 078-84-33.
