In order to ensure an effective completion of the process of shaping sustainable communities, we have to establish systemic communication. Minister for Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine Aliona Babak said during a conference "A Community for Everyone".

“Current cooperation between the Ministry for Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine and the regions is taking place through regional state administrations and the Association of Ukrainian Cities (AUC). During the meeting of the AUC Board, I learnt from the mayors of not only towns but also large cities that they lacked systematic communication with the Ministry of Regional Development, Building, Housing and Communal Services to inform about their problems. That is why we will work out a system of creating a hotline for communications with the regions so that the Ministry can receive those appeals online and respond to them”, she said.

Moreover, the Minister told that another mechanism for building up communication would be trips to the regions, which would already have perspective plans of forming territories of communities that cover 100% of the regions territories.

"Before approving the boundaries and the list of communities that will be part of one or another consolidated community, we should find out whether there are problems remaining. By the end of November, we expect CC to present perspective plans of sustainable communities. After that, it will be possible to plan trips to each region to communicate with communities”, said Aliona Babak.
