The Government improves the quality of housing and communal services and multi-family housing management services. To this end, a mechanism for verifying their appropriate quantity and quality has been developed as defined by a typical contract between the consumer and the supplier. We continue to implement the Law "On Housing and Communal Services". The Vice Prime Minister/ Minister for Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Communal Services of Ukraine Hennadii Zubko emphasized at the Government sitting, commenting on the adoption of the relevant resolution.

"Consumers of communal services will have an opportunity to demand verification of the quality of housing and communal services and receive reimbursement in the future. This will include checking the quality of services for the supply of heat, hot water, centralized water supply and drainage, household waste disposal, and management of a multi-apartment building. Thus, we strengthen the rights and interests of consumers and establish transparent mechanisms of interaction between the consumer and the provider in line with European standards", said Hennadii Zubko.

The decree approves the form of the statement-claim and the mechanism of claim settlement.

The document was developed by the Ministry of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Communal Services of Ukraine and will come into force on May 1, 2019.
