Minister of Foreign Affairs Andrii Sybiha officially inaugurates Ukraine’s embassy in Panama

On March 13, Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha attended the inauguration of the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Panama.

The Foreign Minister stated that the embassy will work to strengthen political dialogue, deepen economic cooperation, support cultural ties, and bring societies of two countries closer together.

“Panama connects continents, oceans, and economies. Ukraine connects global food security, innovation, and resilience. But above all, this embassy represents something very important: presence. Ukraine is present in Panama. Ukraine is present in Latin America,” he said.

Minister Sybiha thanked the Government of Panama for supporting Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity during these difficult times.

He also thanked Ukrainian diplomats who will work here – because “diplomacy is not only about policies, it is about people who dedicate their lives to building understanding between nations.”
