Over UAH 3.5 billion allocated from the Liquidation Fund for recovery projects: Ministry for Communities, Territories and Infrastructure Development

Another 44 restoration projects will receive funding from the Fund for Elimination of the Consequences of the Armed Aggression of the russian federation (Liquidation Fund) for a total of UAH 3.56 billion.

The relevant resolution was adopted at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on Tuesday.

The funds from the Liquidation Fund will be used to restore the destroyed infrastructure facilities recommended by the first meeting of the Interagency Working Group chaired by Oleksandr Kubrakov, Deputy Prime Minister for Restoration of Ukraine, Minister for Communities, Territories and Infrastructure Development of Ukraine.

These are projects of the communities of Zaporizhzhia, Kyiv, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Sumy, Kharkiv, Chernihiv and Kherson regions.

"Funding will be allocated for the reconstruction of housing, healthcare and education facilities, and administrative buildings. Each of these facilities is extremely important for the residents of the regions affected by the consequences of armed aggression. Thus, the Liquidation Fund provides an effective mechanism for restoring community life and ensuring access to basic services for citizens," said Oleksandr Kubrakov.

The State Agency for Reconstruction and Infrastructure Development of Ukraine (Reconstruction Agency) is the main administrator and responsible executor.

It is worth reminding that following the first meeting of the Interagency Working Group, the Government approved the allocation of UAH 6.6 billion in the form of a subvention from the state budget to local budgets. In total, the provided funds will be used to implement 157 priority projects in the regions most affected by the armed aggression of the Russian Federation.
