The Cabinet of Ministers has increased the budget revenues and expenditures of the Pension Fund of Ukraine by more than UAH 18 billion.
"Increasing the resource base of the Pension Fund will allow the Government to raise pensions from December 1 up to UAH 2,600, as was planned. The move will be due to the increase in the minimum wage to UAH 6,500. This is only part of the measures to implement a comprehensive plan to raise social standards for Ukrainians," said Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal during a Government meeting.
According to him, the increase of pensions, salaries and social benefits will take place on a regular basis, as it is the obligation of the State and the Government.
