Ministry of Finance: UAH 191.5 billion allocated for social payments in the first half of 2025

The Ministry of Finance has fully and timely funded social payments in the first half of 2025.
A total of UAH 191.5 billion from the state budget was allocated for social payments administered by the Ministry of Social Policy.
Specifically:
- UAH 113.5 billion – for financing pensions, supplements, and pension increases under the Pension Fund’s programmes;
- UAH 32.8 billion – for social protection of citizens facing difficult life circumstances, with over 750,000 individuals, including internally displaced persons, receiving relevant assistance;
- UAH 7.1 billion – to support over 170,000 low-income families;
- UAH 24.9 billion – for providing benefits and housing subsidies, benefiting over 2.7 million recipient households;
- UAH 11.0 billion – for social protection of children and families, directed towards social assistance payments for over 570,000 recipients;
- UAH 2.2 billion – for social protection of persons with disabilities.
