On Wednesday, December 8, a UAH 300 million financing was transferred to state-owned mines to pay salaries to pitmen.

This amount is the second part of the funding allocated in accordance with the amendments to the State Budget on the additional disbursement of UAH 1 billion for payments to miners.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Energy has already addressed the Ministry of Finance with a proposal to increase expenditures on salaries to miners this year by UAH 900 million.

Another UAH 90 million is planned to be redistributed at the expense of savings under other budget programs of the Ministry. The relevant draft order has already been submitted to the Government.

In addition, the Ministry of Energy and Centerenergo are working on ways of possible additional advances to state-owned coal companies. These funds can be used to pay wages.
